Ken Lay is the President and Founder of Perspective Always Matters LLC.

Ken Lay is an executive coach, and the President & Founder of Perspective Always Matters LLC. With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in Fortune 100 companies, he combines his expertise in organizational psychology with practical experience leading global organizations to empower clients to enhance their leadership effectiveness, build resilience, and drive personal and organizational growth.

 

Ken partners with C-suite executives and emerging leaders across diverse industries, including financial services, government, healthcare, and nonprofits. He specializes in helping leaders navigate complex challenges and achieve breakthrough results. Ken is dedicated to helping leaders unlock their full potential and is passionate about fostering clarity and confidence in leaders as they navigate their unique paths. Ken’s coaching expertise is backed by certifications from the Center for Executive Coaching and the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

 

Ken’s distinguished career includes executive roles at Citizens Bank (EVP/CIO, Commercial Bank and Chief of Staff, Business Services), IBM, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America. He also served as the Secretary of Revenue for North Carolina during the fiscal crisis of 2009 – 2010.

 

Ken has served on numerous boards for philanthropic, educational, and government organizations. He holds an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
